It’s rare to find a vintage piece like this with the original bubble glass still intact! The glass is slightly convex to look like the glass has bubbled out of the frame. This effect is created during the glassblowing process by slumping the glass in the frame. You can see with this hutch the doors have a single pane of glass that “bubbles” through the 6 frames for a thoroughly unique look!
This Kroehler hutch has two fixed upper shelves behind the bubble glass doors. The lower portion has three hidden drawers and a large open cabinet behind the doors. Overall this piece is in good vintage condition, one side has some discoloration from age, which could easily go unnoticed if tucked by a wall.
